-Created a level size system, so when the main map is created each level (or system) will have a unique map size and shape.

-Worked on making the main HUD Jump/Resource bar more clear

-Add “player initiative” or turns for when outside of a level.  Since you are playing against a single enemy AI who goes to which system matters as the other gets a warning they are being attacked and has the option to defend.

-Overhauled pirate ship AI and added Lin-of-sight logic and predictive aim to their behavior.

July 21, 2019 – Update 45

  • added health bars to all ships
  • all ships now take damage from weapons
  • all ships die when health goes below 1 and explode
  • all dying ships drop resources they collected
  • levels now have different sizes
  • player now can engage jump drive to leave the level

July 11, 2019 – Update 44

  • range, mining and move each got 2 levels of tech completed
  • pirate encounters now happen (only small’s AI is really functional, mediums just follow you and large, goes off and mines then follows you sometimes)
  • added an info screen placeholder researching item now displays a message
